Dear Friends & Students,

I do my best to greet each day with presence: to respond and receive rather than to react. Lately, that’s ebeen my challenge. All I know is that this is my life right now, and if I can be more at ease in the moment, I can trust that the moment will change. I return to the process and practice of writing as a nurturing act. When we allow the page to be the container, rather than assuming we know the final form, writing becomes a way to build home.

It is from this place, I am thrilled to be offering two opportunities to write in community:

We begin with a short meditation, followed by quiet time to journal, and (optional) sharing. No previous writing experience required just a willingness to practice, a pen, and paper.

Join Robin and I to explore tools and techniques to align your relationship with whatever surrounds you. Consider the possibility of becoming your own trusted narrator. In lieu of internalizing stress, discover how the process of meditation and writing letters — addressed to emotions or objects — can become powerful frameworks for choosing how to tell your story.

This 90-minute workshop will help you gain insight into what makes you feel most vulnerable. Beginning with a gentle meditation, we’ll guide you through a series of thoughtful writing prompts to address uncertainty, clarify thought, gain understanding, offer inspiration, and reveal movement toward embracing change. And we’ll end with a sharing circle meant to help you feel nourished and supported.
