29 March 2021 Dear Friends & Readers, Lately the skies over Western New York have been on the move. Moment to moment shifts between dark & light. They meet and collide, one roaring into the other, then back again. It feels appropriate in this time of inoculation, one step closer although equally not knowing what our new normal may be. We are still in waiting. I’ve come to think of clouds like poems, each becoming a space for experience: spaces that whisper calling me to notice What might it mean to write with the story, to write within the cloud? To delight in each moment as a place I’ve never been? I can neither control nor prophesize how our plague stories will end ~ I do not know what it is that comes next but I do know that clouds cannot stand in our way.
